Your stay at Loskin Wood includes access to our woodland programme – a small, evolving mix of guided time – shared campfire meals or hands-on making and learning.
Loskin Wood is a growing woodland and the experiences offered reflect that, you’ll be invited to take part in a number of hosted sessions which may include informal walks, conversations about the land, practical woodland activities, or time spent together around the fire.
The programme changes with the seasons, the weather and the people working in the wood during your stay. There is no fixed timetable, experiences offered vary so no two weeks are quite the same!
A founding season
2026 is our founding season. We’re piloting the woodland programme during the early life of the forest, learning what feels most meaningful and allowing the experiences to develop naturally over time.
Sessions usually take place mid-morning, with an open-fire lunch around midday. They often fall on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, though exact days and timings vary. Your schedule will be confirmed before arrival so you can plan your time.
This approach allows you to experience the forest as it grows, join in activities when they happen, and relax knowing that every stay is fully inclusive, without worrying about add-ons or extra charges.
